Richard Brunelle

Richard Brunelle is an accomplished executive leader in supply chain operations, automation, and logistics, with over 30 years of experience across entertainment, manufacturing, retail, and third-party logistics (3PL) industries.

Most notably, he held senior leadership roles at Bath & Body Works, where he served as Associate Vice President - Logistics Engineering and Director of Logistics Engineering. In these positions, he drove strategic initiatives in distribution center engineering, operational excellence, process optimization, and infrastructure improvements to support high-volume retail fulfillment and supply chain efficiency during a period of rapid e-commerce growth for the iconic beauty and personal care brand.

Currently, Richard is the Director of Automation at Yusen Logistics Americas (Contract Logistics), where he leads capacity planning, data driven inventory optimization, automation strategy and deployment in large-scale 3PL environments. Previously, he was Principal at BlueArch Consulting, LLC, providing advisory services to emerging businesses in supply chain systems and automation.

A results-oriented professional, Richard specializes in bridging human and robotic workflows, implementing lean principles, project management, and scaling automation solutions for complex, high-throughput warehouses. His expertise includes navigating variability, exceptions, cross-traffic, and human-robot collaboration to achieve production-grade outcomes.

Richard is passionate about advancing warehouse intelligence and frequently gets involved with projects like scalable robotics deployment, system-level coordination, and adaptive supply chain operations. He holds a degree from Northeastern University and is based in the United States.
